CHRISTMAS 2009

Happy New Year!

We are excited to share some pictures with you.
My number one resolution this year- TAKE MORE PICTURES and do something with them other than store them on my computer. I am off to a good start... I printed off some family pictures and hung them in frames on the wall in our entry way. I love having pictures on the wall it is awesome.

Here we are at Clint and Ashley's house Christmas day. Braydon's favorite Girl cousins Sydney and Carley with Aunt Ashley

Here are four generations of Davis' in one place. It is pretty special to be able to share the holidays with everyone. Great Grandma RuthAnn, Carley, Ian, Braydon, Courtney, Grandpa Steve, Sydney and Daisey.

And here we are with three generations of Elliotts. Kim, Clint, Grammy Tammy, G-pa Mark, Ian, Braydon, and Courtney

Family pictures X-Mas eve at the Elliott party.

We had the Richardson X-mas party at our house for the first time this year. It was a lot of fun. It was such a blessing to watch all the young kids play together. We had a great time visiting with the family. I love parties we will have to do them more often.

Christmas morning Braydon received a remote control car which he figured out how to work right away.
Snow? at La Encantada. We took Braydon to see the snow show (which is actually made of soap suds.) We decided to get right in the thick of the soap blizzard for a festive x-mas card picture. As you can see by Braydons' face it is uncomfortable to breath in soap suds. The soap snow was enjoyable when we were looking at it from a distance opposed to inhaling it. What minor torture wont we smile through for a festive x-mas card picture. I recall a past torture session in MN when I had the wonderful idea of standing in a foot of snow in 15 degree weather trying to smile and pose waiting for the timer on the camera to go off a dozen times or so until we had the perfect festive x-card picture. Hmmmm what will we come up with for next year?Braydon, Uncle Clinton and cousin Clay in the back admiring the Snow show.

Yes this is what we came up with for the festive X-mass card picture. Not quite as exciting as a blizzard but everyone is smiling.

Disneyland and the Beach

Our fast paced weekend began Friday. We arrived in Disneyland around 3pm and stayed until about 10pm. Braydon feel asleep on the Nemo submarine ride around 8:30pm. (a bit early for him) He was so tired from the day of excitement. Ian and I stayed for the fierworks and untill 10pm while he slept in the stroller. We even made it to the beach Sat evening. We drove back home to Tucson after the seminar ended sun @ noon. We had a wonderful time. Sorry some of our pictures below are out of order.

Braydon had so much fun being strolled around with so much to see.

We walked to the beach Sat evening after I was done at the pediatrics seminar.

It was chilly and windy you can see we are wearing long sleves.

Braydon is wishing he had not just stuck a fist full of sand in his mouth.
Twice.

Running around the beach

The last picture we got in before he fell asleep on the submarine ride behind us.

We managed to get one family picture @ Disneyland

Waiting in line in front of the haunted mansion.
He did well on all the rides even the Haunted ones. Our little thrill seeker.

Braydon is trying to take in all the small world characters. Small world was my first ride @ Disenyland and also was Braydons. It is very relaxing as you can see.

Summer Fun

Braydon has been enjoying spending time outside. Somehow the heat does not phase him.
Sliding is one of his favorite things to do. He likes to say 2,3 Go!
We are working on 1.

Ian even gets some sliding time in with Braydon.

Frozen blueberries are an awesome summer treat however they are slightly messy.

We had a wonderful 4th of July. We went to a park in Benson to watch the fireworks. We got to sit (ok run after Braydon) in the park very close to the show. The fireworks were awesome. Braydon loved them he called them lights and kept asking for more.

Braydon has been taking movers and shakers baby gymnastics classes on Tuesdays this summer. Here he is in action.

He really enjoys the bars!

And climbing through the tunnels.

He has love being in the class with his friend Dalaney. They study each other and learn from each other how to have the most fun on the equipment.

There is even parachute time.

Our little monkey swinging on the bar.

This picture gives a good shot of the whole obstacle course in the background. It makes a full circle around the room and the kids just run from one activity to the next.

Christmas in the Desert

It was another magical Christmas with the family this year. We had a fairly eventful three days of Christmas this year. We will go back wards on this one because that is how we uploaded the pictures and there are to many pictures the change it now.

The day after Christmas we spent it with the Richardson side of the family, Courtney's Mother's side. We spent the day at Courtney's parents house with almost all the local Arizona residence. It is always good to get everyone together and we enjoyed a meal and played games. Below Braydon sits with his Uncle Clint and next to them is Braydons cousin Payton. The WII got some good use as there were a good number of kids.

Here is a good action shot of some the Mario Kart players. Brice, sitting in the middle, pretty much beat everyone when he played. Also playing is Megan on the far right. Watching and waiting their turn is Payton, Taylor and Uncle Bill. Braydon of course is taking matters into his own hands.

Here we spent time on the Davis side and Ian's brothers house. We had a good turn out here too with visitors all the way from Wisconsin. All the rest of us live in Tucson which made traveling pretty easy this year.

Below sit Braydon and Sydney wearing their new favorite tee shirts from their Crazy Great Uncle Jeff. If it is too hard to read, the shirts say "Cow Tipper in Training".

Here is Braydon in Sydneys Wagon. He got one just like it from his Uncle Clint and Aunt Ashley. He now has to sit in it when ever he is awake at the house. And yes we do have to pull him around the house for now.

Sydney was happy to share and go for a ride in her wagon. Hopefully Braydon will be able to return the favor someday soon.

Good shot of Sydney and her Grandpa Steve.

Here is a picture of half of the Davis Clan enjoying a meal together.

Here is the other half of the Davis group.

And this is yes the third half of the Davis Group. We are so special that we have three halves to make up the whole group.

Christmas Day!!
Here we are Christmas morning. We spent the night at Grammy and G-Pa Elliott's house. Believe it or not but Santa knew that we stayed there and didn't forget to bring Braydon's presents. Below is one of Braydon's new, we'll call it noise makers, toys. He can walk all around it and touch anything to make some sort of sound. The best part is the setting that makes everything in Spanish.

Courtney and Braydon open another fun toy. This one could be a problem some day soon, if Braydon follows in Ian's foot steps being a soccer player, there is bound to be something broken in the house. Lets just hope it is not a window at least.

Here Ian, aka the Security Elf, got to open another present with Braydon. We all had a good time watching Braydon's eyes open a little bigger with every present.

Christmas Eve!!
Here we are at the Elliott Party, Courtney's Dads side of the family. Most of the Family if local here in Tucson but some travel from California and it is sure nice to be able to have everyone there.
This picture is a little dark sorry but it was a good shot of about half of the group.
Here are Courtney's cousin Brooke, Aunt Nancy and cousin Erin.

Here is a good shot of a group of cousins sitting by the fire outside. We all had a great time and the only thing that would be better is not having to wait til next year to get everyone together again. Some how the years just fly by and before we know it Christmas has come again. We are blessed to have such great families and we only hope that you all had a Merry and Blessed Christmas as well.

Christmas Card Bloopers:

Everyone has them but no one ever shows them. We though it would be fun to have a little blooper selection for you all to enjoy. This is only a few of them but you can see how much fun it is to get one really good one. The good news is that this year we did not have to set up the camera and put it on a timer to take every picture. A special thanks goes out to Rachel for snapping all the pictures for us!!

Enjoy!!!
