Food is Yummy!!

Dinner time is finally going to be fun to watch!! The pictures only get better as we go along.

Braydon is really growing up fast. So fast that he now has two teeth at the same time coming in. So let the fun begin.

Here is the first bite Braydon gets to take. For those of you that have spent much time with Braydon you understand why we have to restrain his hands, because they are constantly moving. Braydon's first food was a bite of Peas. Yummy!!!
This is the face of a little boy who's eyes have been opened!

It does not look like we will have to feed him much longer since he already is taking the spoons away from us and eating on his own. Now if we could just get him to change his own diapers. Maybe next week?

Here is Braydon at his Uncle and Great Grandpa's birthday lunch. It was both Braydon and his Uncles first time at PF Chang's.

Happy Birthday Uncle Clint!!

Happy Birthday Great Grandpa Ferroll!!

Braydon also had a little celebration of his own Sunday April 12th. We had him dedicated at the church we have been attending. Here we are with Pastor Glen. We want to especially thank all of our family members that came to support us and Braydon, it really means a lot to us.

Overall the last couple weeks have been pretty eventful. The first weekend of April Ian, Steve (Ian's Dad), Mark (Courtney's Dad) , Clint ( Courtney's Brother) and Vern (a good family friend of Ian's dad) all decided to strap 50lb backpacks on them and hike over a mountain. It was a great idea to say the least. They left Friday morning and had planned to be gone until Sunday. Well Friday was a lot more than any of them had planned for and decided to cut the trip short and came back on Saturday. It was a great trip but it was a trip that needed a lot more time and preparation and next time we will be ready for it. Overall a great learning experience.

Here is Ian, Steve and Vern getting started, Notice the smiles at the beginning of the trail.

One thing the trip did not lack was a view. We hiked to about 7,000 feet the first day and here is a good prospective of how far we had gone. Here Vern is taking in the view from about half way through the hike.

This is kind of hard to tell but here is our campsite. Mark and Vern are sitting on the logs that we put in place around the fire. We defiantly improved the value of campsite #2. I think most people will want to stay there from now on.

The trip was great but sitting in the car afterwards was the best thing ever.

Well last but not least the "back yard update"

Ian has finished the Great Wall of Davis by stucco painting it. It turned out great. Better than we thought. As far as the fire place itself, there should be a mid week update with the finished product as well. Ian is putting the final touches on it.

Thank for visiting our blog. Please leave any comments, we love to know who is visiting.

March Madness!! And It Is!!!

Braydon's first NCAA tournament ended in round one this year. Here he is cheering on his favorite team. He was not to upset about the loss as you can see. The PAC 10 is still a conference to watch out for. Maybe next year U of A will be in longer.

Here is another fun adventure Braydon got to do for the first time. If you look close in the picture can you see the real animal (not Ian this time)???

Braydon was really able to relate to the giraffe because they both have a drooling problem.
Braydon fed the giraffe himself and thank goodness his Grandpa had a good hold on him. The Giraffe's tongue was so long that it wrapped around Braydons hand about three times.

This is a little hard to see but well worth putting in the blog. We have a friend named Alicia that works at this zoo and she took our little group exclusively behind the scenes. One of the groups of animals she works with are the lions, so she took us to see him up close and personal. The pictures don't do this guy justice. He is huge and acts just like a big kitty. His favorite toy is a big plastic barrel that he has mostly destroyed of course. It was really cool to see and hear him that close up.

Here is a shot of the lion holding his barrel. It was pretty cool!!

Braydon's Grandma and Grandpa knew that he was missing something in his life. Every little boy dreams of their own puppy to hold, lay on, and love to pieces. We as parents really liked the one they got him because we don't have to pick up after it or even feed it. See what we mean below.

Is this kid cute or what??

Someone get this kid a modeling contract!!

Well we don't feel like we can post pictures of Braydon in the bath tub, but if we did you would all be laughing because he does nothing but kick and splash. It makes for a fun time in the bath. Anyway after bath pictures are just as fun!! Who else would like a ducky towel??

And or course we had a great Easter as we hope the rest of you did as well. We had a group of about 17 on the mountain for a picnic. Part of the group wanted to be in the sun so they set up shop in the wash.

Braydon forgot to bring his hat on the trip so it was a good thing his Uncle Poo Poo Head (what Braydon calls his Uncle Clint) brought along an extra one for him!

Braydon and his favorite Cousin Sydney.

The two dads and their babies!!

And finally an update on the projects around the house. Ian has almost completed the fireplace outside, but has had to put things on hold for a little bit. See he has learned a valuable lesson about cutting things with razors, and that is to keep your fingers out of the way. Six stitches later in two different fingers he is on the mend. But the projects did not stop, no in fact they grew. Below is Ian's new project, who is ready for fun in the sun?? Out with the new and in with the old.

Ian's new 1973 Chevy Blazer

A little paint and some good hard work.

Well we know how much fun blogging can be but apparently not enough for this little guy. Hope you enjoyed checking this weeks blog.

Rollin Rollin Rawhide!!

This is a new month and Braydon has started something new. He has now figured out how to roll over. It is amazing how much fun it is to see him roll over. I roll over in bed probably a hundred times and I don't think anything of it but when he does it looks like he has figured out a whole new world. Instead of seeing everything upside down, he finally is starting to see it right side up. We are excited about the next stages of his life and are trying to capture everything we can.

Here are a couple fun pictures of Braydon

Here is one of Braydon just slipping into his Milk Comma

Here is Braydon with his milk belly hanging out

Here is Braydon beating all of you in a game of Chubby Bunny, Anyone think they can take him??

This is Braydon's favorite past time. An afternoon walk in the stroller.

I guess I will give the latest yard update as well. It is pretty much spring around here already. The grass has started to come back and I have had good time to work on the out door fire place. Here are a couple pictures of the metal framing Ian is using to build it. Also there is a special print in the concrete. Check out what we have done.

This is just a great picture of Braydon with his Uncle Clint and Cousin Sydney. We were at Ashley's birthday party but did not even get a picture of her. Sorry Ashley, it was a lovely party though.

Febuary is Here

Well it was an interesting week in Tucson. We have had nothing but a beautiful winter and then out of nowhere the tempuratures dropped and it started to snow at our house. We never thought that we would see this in Tucson. Needless to say it did not stick on the ground. It was surprisingly nice to see acutally.

Lets see what else has been going on. Well we celebrated Ian's birthday on Super Bowl Sunday. It just so happened that they scheduled it on his birthday this year. We had a nice party and watched one of the better super bowl games. Ian got a Wii for his birthday and we have all been having a great time with it. We have been enjoying bowling mostly. SO far Cournty has the best score, we are all out to beat her these days.

Well enough about us. We both know that everyone wants to see more pictures of Braydon. Well Here you go. Braydon is almost 4months now and he seems to be changing everyday. When we got up this morning we were sure that his hair has grown. It is for sure darker brown these days. He almost rolls over from his back and has been rolling from his stomach for a while now. He continues to make more and more noise. Below are a couple Braydon's best shots from the past couple weeks. We will be sure to keep you poasted on any noticeable hair growth. We hope you all enjoy them.

Sorry It Has Taken Us So Long!!

So we are sorry to all of the faithful bloggers who have been checking and rechecking this blog. We have had a crazy Christmas and New Years. Even though it has been crazy we have well documented many of the events. So please enjoy the new pictures.

We will do our best to update this more often now that we have all the time in the world (RIGHT).

Here is a picture of Braydon and his favorite cousin Sydney. They really enjoy a nice piece of carpet where everyone stares, makes faces and talks in really high pitched voices. Here is a perfect example of two very happy babies.

Here is Courtney and Braydon. This is Braydon's first airline flight. We took him on a trip to Hawaii. We had a lot of fun and this is just the beginning.

Here is one really happy boy because he is off the plane that he was stuck on for 6 + hours. By the way he really did well on the entire trip. He practically slept the entire way.

Here is a shot of all of us. We are all glad to be off the plane.

On the first part of the trip we did a lot of great hikes. Here we are at Akaka Falls. Braydon really enjoyed the hikes.

Here Braydon and Ian are in front of a Tiki. It is hard to see but Braydon was really trying to make the same face that the Tiki has.

This is a picture of Braydon letting everyone know what he thinks of the Botanical Garden we went to.

Here we are at the beach. We are waiting for a good wave to ride in. Braydon does not like the real big ones yet.

This is us at the bottom of a crater that is still active. Not many two month olds can say they have done that. Now that I think about it two month olds don't say much at all... Anyway it was fun.

And last but not least we got a nice family picture to finish the trip. We saw a lot of things and were sad to leave but we had a really nice time, and can not wait to go back again some day.

Enjoy the update and please check back for more to come. We will be better.
