Christmas in the Desert

It was another magical Christmas with the family this year. We had a fairly eventful three days of Christmas this year. We will go back wards on this one because that is how we uploaded the pictures and there are to many pictures the change it now.

The day after Christmas we spent it with the Richardson side of the family, Courtney's Mother's side. We spent the day at Courtney's parents house with almost all the local Arizona residence. It is always good to get everyone together and we enjoyed a meal and played games. Below Braydon sits with his Uncle Clint and next to them is Braydons cousin Payton. The WII got some good use as there were a good number of kids.

Here is a good action shot of some the Mario Kart players. Brice, sitting in the middle, pretty much beat everyone when he played. Also playing is Megan on the far right. Watching and waiting their turn is Payton, Taylor and Uncle Bill. Braydon of course is taking matters into his own hands.

Here we spent time on the Davis side and Ian's brothers house. We had a good turn out here too with visitors all the way from Wisconsin. All the rest of us live in Tucson which made traveling pretty easy this year.

Below sit Braydon and Sydney wearing their new favorite tee shirts from their Crazy Great Uncle Jeff. If it is too hard to read, the shirts say "Cow Tipper in Training".

Here is Braydon in Sydneys Wagon. He got one just like it from his Uncle Clint and Aunt Ashley. He now has to sit in it when ever he is awake at the house. And yes we do have to pull him around the house for now.

Sydney was happy to share and go for a ride in her wagon. Hopefully Braydon will be able to return the favor someday soon.

Good shot of Sydney and her Grandpa Steve.

Here is a picture of half of the Davis Clan enjoying a meal together.

Here is the other half of the Davis group.

And this is yes the third half of the Davis Group. We are so special that we have three halves to make up the whole group.

Christmas Day!!
Here we are Christmas morning. We spent the night at Grammy and G-Pa Elliott's house. Believe it or not but Santa knew that we stayed there and didn't forget to bring Braydon's presents. Below is one of Braydon's new, we'll call it noise makers, toys. He can walk all around it and touch anything to make some sort of sound. The best part is the setting that makes everything in Spanish.

Courtney and Braydon open another fun toy. This one could be a problem some day soon, if Braydon follows in Ian's foot steps being a soccer player, there is bound to be something broken in the house. Lets just hope it is not a window at least.

Here Ian, aka the Security Elf, got to open another present with Braydon. We all had a good time watching Braydon's eyes open a little bigger with every present.

Christmas Eve!!
Here we are at the Elliott Party, Courtney's Dads side of the family. Most of the Family if local here in Tucson but some travel from California and it is sure nice to be able to have everyone there.
This picture is a little dark sorry but it was a good shot of about half of the group.
Here are Courtney's cousin Brooke, Aunt Nancy and cousin Erin.

Here is a good shot of a group of cousins sitting by the fire outside. We all had a great time and the only thing that would be better is not having to wait til next year to get everyone together again. Some how the years just fly by and before we know it Christmas has come again. We are blessed to have such great families and we only hope that you all had a Merry and Blessed Christmas as well.

Christmas Card Bloopers:

Everyone has them but no one ever shows them. We though it would be fun to have a little blooper selection for you all to enjoy. This is only a few of them but you can see how much fun it is to get one really good one. The good news is that this year we did not have to set up the camera and put it on a timer to take every picture. A special thanks goes out to Rachel for snapping all the pictures for us!!

Enjoy!!!

Thanks for Everything!!

So Thanksgiving was at our house this year. It is the first time in a while that we were able to host the great day!! We had Courtney's parents, brother, Grandma Lucy and Grandparents Jo and Ferrol, Friends Jordan, Chrissy, Matthew, Ty, Ian's Mom and of course our new resident Rachel. We had a great day with all our friends and family. Please enjoy a few highlights below.

Here is Braydon enjoying a good turkey dinner with the rest of us. Only difference is that he gets most of it on his face instead of in his belly.

We are not really sure how to explain this type of behavior but, "Clint you do look good"!!

Here Mark and Grandma Lucy enjoy snuggle time on the couch. Most likly one or both of them will be sleeping after too long!!

Now that is a good looking Family, but does everyone really need to be in the kitchen??

Here Braydon and Ty work on sharing. They did a pretty good job MOST of the day.

Here Braydon show Matthew what to do with his toy. Ty sits in the backround quenching his thirst.

If only we could all have little ears on our hooded sweatshirts, then we would all look as cute as Braydon does here. We are enjoying a fire outside after the party thins out.

Got a little smokey but as you can see Tammy snuggles with the right teams blanket.

Grandma Kathy holds onto Braydon as both try to help Ian blow on the fire to get it started.

Now that the fire is going we can all enjoy the heat, just one more thing to be greatful for.
We hope you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving as much as we did.

1st Birthday Party

We can not even believe that one year has come and gone. Could it be that the next year goes as fast as this first one?? I guess we will have to find out. Well below please enjoy some pictures from birthday party #1. Braydon below is enjoying one of his birthday presents, a pool of plastic balls. He loves swimming in them and most of all throwing them all over the place.

Here is Braydon and Grammy Tammy!!

Here is Braydon and Grandma Kathy!!

Here is Sydney with Great Grandma Davis!!

Here Ashley and Courtney blow out Sydney and Braydon's first birthday candles

Sydney and Braydon are getting started on their cupcakes and ice cream. Thats right!! If we thought they were wired before, watch out world.

Sydney won't be clean for long!!

It did not take Braydon long to dig into his cupcake. He actually enjoyed feeding Lily, the pug not shown, who really does have a thing for chocolate.

Swimming is not allowed within 30 minutes of eating unless you have a lifeguard in the pool with you. Thank goodness Rachel volunteered to watch them swim.

I dare you to get in the pool with this guy.

Almost forgot Another of Braydons Big Adventures

Nothing is better than your first trip out doors. We took Braydon Camping a few weeks back. Needless to say the men had a great time, including Braydon, but the girls are still wondering why the bathroom is so far away. Anyway the pictures tell the story just as well as we could so enjoy!!

Wow you gotta see this!!!

Okay we are back and this time we have footage that is going to change our lives forever. As you watch this video please be thinking about the parents of this child and the now new energy levels that need to be found. Everyone knows this is a natural transition but as watching it happen before your eyes makes it even more exciting. This is a first of Braydon's many new adventures.

Okay so you have now seen the amazing feets that Braydon grown to use. Next he is he showing us a future. Many of this family members will be able to appreciate this. Could it be that we have a marching band member in our future?? I don't know but it looks like he is pretty comfortable with his first set of symbols. You can be the judge!!

Hope you enjoyed the shows!!

Summer Adventures!

I hope you are ready for some adventures because we are going to update you on two months worth of fun! Here we go!
It is always a good time for swimming in the summer in Arizona! Braydon is enjoying Great Grandma and Grandpas pool here.
In June we had our 10 year high school reunion. It was lots of fun. We got to see some people we did not expect to see.
Our Friend Laura came down with her kids Lizzy and Dillon and we had lots of fun spending time with them. Here we are all at the zoo with Nikki and Delaney.

Here are some of the pictures we were able to get during our reunion.

We spent part of July in Wisconsin and Minnesota. We had a great time visiting with family at Great Grandma Davis' resort. In Minnesota we were able to catch up with friends at dinners and at the Totman's lake house. Everyone seemed pleased to meet Braydon.
Here we are in the Totman's lake house.
We were able to meet up with Missy & Amber at one of our favorites Buca De Beppo.
Missy & Amber are classmates from Chiropractic School.
In Gazebo cousin Avery hugs the two packer fans Sydney & Braydon.

The newest Chuckel additions below Twins Everett & Isabel. Holding the twins is Ian's Aunt Connie and their father Uncle Jesse.

Braydon enjoyed driving Great Grandma Davis' pontoon.
Celebrating Uncle Doug's birthday calls for a formal family portrait!

Who doesn't love to drive the gator or hang out on Gazebo hill? Well we know Braydon does.

Wyatt and Brylee really enjoyed spending time with their new cousins Braydon and Sydney.

The pontoon is so relaxing just ask Braydon.
Swinging on the playground with Mom is fun too.

Click play to enjoy a short video of us in Gazebo!
Sydney & Braydon spent some great quality time splashing here in the bath tub in Gazebo.
When we returned home to Tucson we took Braydon to his first baseball game the Sidewinders.
We were there with Julia, Uncle Clint and G-Pa.
