Food is Yummy!!

Dinner time is finally going to be fun to watch!! The pictures only get better as we go along.

Braydon is really growing up fast. So fast that he now has two teeth at the same time coming in. So let the fun begin.

Here is the first bite Braydon gets to take. For those of you that have spent much time with Braydon you understand why we have to restrain his hands, because they are constantly moving. Braydon's first food was a bite of Peas. Yummy!!!
This is the face of a little boy who's eyes have been opened!

It does not look like we will have to feed him much longer since he already is taking the spoons away from us and eating on his own. Now if we could just get him to change his own diapers. Maybe next week?

Here is Braydon at his Uncle and Great Grandpa's birthday lunch. It was both Braydon and his Uncles first time at PF Chang's.

Happy Birthday Uncle Clint!!

Happy Birthday Great Grandpa Ferroll!!

Braydon also had a little celebration of his own Sunday April 12th. We had him dedicated at the church we have been attending. Here we are with Pastor Glen. We want to especially thank all of our family members that came to support us and Braydon, it really means a lot to us.

Overall the last couple weeks have been pretty eventful. The first weekend of April Ian, Steve (Ian's Dad), Mark (Courtney's Dad) , Clint ( Courtney's Brother) and Vern (a good family friend of Ian's dad) all decided to strap 50lb backpacks on them and hike over a mountain. It was a great idea to say the least. They left Friday morning and had planned to be gone until Sunday. Well Friday was a lot more than any of them had planned for and decided to cut the trip short and came back on Saturday. It was a great trip but it was a trip that needed a lot more time and preparation and next time we will be ready for it. Overall a great learning experience.

Here is Ian, Steve and Vern getting started, Notice the smiles at the beginning of the trail.

One thing the trip did not lack was a view. We hiked to about 7,000 feet the first day and here is a good prospective of how far we had gone. Here Vern is taking in the view from about half way through the hike.

This is kind of hard to tell but here is our campsite. Mark and Vern are sitting on the logs that we put in place around the fire. We defiantly improved the value of campsite #2. I think most people will want to stay there from now on.

The trip was great but sitting in the car afterwards was the best thing ever.

Well last but not least the "back yard update"

Ian has finished the Great Wall of Davis by stucco painting it. It turned out great. Better than we thought. As far as the fire place itself, there should be a mid week update with the finished product as well. Ian is putting the final touches on it.
