Courtney and Braydon
Mark and Wyatt
Okay we are back and this time we have footage that is going to change our lives forever. As you watch this video please be thinking about the parents of this child and the now new energy levels that need to be found. Everyone knows this is a natural transition but as watching it happen before your eyes makes it even more exciting. This is a first of Braydon's many new adventures.
Okay so you have now seen the amazing feets that Braydon grown to use. Next he is he showing us a future. Many of this family members will be able to appreciate this. Could it be that we have a marching band member in our future?? I don't know but it looks like he is pretty comfortable with his first set of symbols. You can be the judge!!
Hope you enjoyed the shows!!
In June we had our 10 year high school reunion. It was lots of fun. We got to see some people we did not expect to see.Braydon also had a little celebration of his own Sunday April 12th. We had him dedicated at the church we have been attending. Here we are with Pastor Glen. We want to especially thank all of our family members that came to support us and Braydon, it really means a lot to us.
Here is Ian, Steve and Vern getting started, Notice the smiles at the beginning of the trail.
The trip was great but sitting in the car afterwards was the best thing ever.
Well last but not least the "back yard update"
Ian has finished the Great Wall of Davis by stucco painting it. It turned out great. Better than we thought. As far as the fire place itself, there should be a mid week update with the finished product as well. Ian is putting the final touches on it.
This is a little hard to see but well worth putting in the blog. We have a friend named Alicia that works at this zoo and she took our little group exclusively behind the scenes. One of the groups of animals she works with are the lions, so she took us to see him up close and personal. The pictures don't do this guy justice. He is huge and acts just like a big kitty. His favorite toy is a big plastic barrel that he has mostly destroyed of course. It was really cool to see and hear him that close up.
Braydon's Grandma and Grandpa knew that he was missing something in his life. Every little boy dreams of their own puppy to hold, lay on, and love to pieces. We as parents really liked the one they got him because we don't have to pick up after it or even feed it. See what we mean below.
Is this kid cute or what??
Someone get this kid a modeling contract!!
Well we don't feel like we can post pictures of Braydon in the bath tub, but if we did you would all be laughing because he does nothing but kick and splash. It makes for a fun time in the bath. Anyway after bath pictures are just as fun!! Who else would like a ducky towel??
And or course we had a great Easter as we hope the rest of you did as well. We had a group of about 17 on the mountain for a picnic. Part of the group wanted to be in the sun so they set up shop in the wash.
Braydon and his favorite Cousin Sydney.
And finally an update on the projects around the house. Ian has almost completed the fireplace outside, but has had to put things on hold for a little bit. See he has learned a valuable lesson about cutting things with razors, and that is to keep your fingers out of the way. Six stitches later in two different fingers he is on the mend. But the projects did not stop, no in fact they grew. Below is Ian's new project, who is ready for fun in the sun?? Out with the new and in with the old.
Ian's new 1973 Chevy Blazer
A little paint and some good hard work.
Well we know how much fun blogging can be but apparently not enough for this little guy. Hope you enjoyed checking this weeks blog.
